Change is better
Hey friends, welcome to this week's of I thought. For the last two weeks I've been dabbling with the thought of happiness and the crucial point I've been focusing on it the fact that I have to learn to live with many things in my live, what I have, where I live and who I live with. It's in fact quite a good idea and one what would work well for many but after a talk with my father, I realised that might just not work for me.
On Tuesday, I called my dad to have a chat about what I'm feeling and how turbulent my feelings are over the past few weeks. I've always loved talking to him in cases like this because I find him to be the wise guy. Of course, there's nothing wrong with living with what you have and in fact it is an encouraged way of living. The zen way whereby you just accept where and what you are but the crucial thing we can choose it the people we live with.
People unlike things are living, it's not just us which have control over them but they can have control over us too. That's why it's crucial to know who you're living with and whether they are the right people you want to live with. There's this saying whereby you are who your closest 7 friends are that's why in order to be who you want to be, you need to choose who you're with.
That's why I chose to leave this houseshare that I'm in and look forward to the new place with Verene. The funny thing is that it's not far away and it's still under the same landlord. But the crucial information I wanted to bring out is that while we are always asked to accept things there are certain things which we shouldn't just sit there and blindly accept but to take charge and change them before they change us.
